Friends is no longer subjective......

When it come with friend, what was in your mind? Friends are the same people who'd we face everyday. It is a normal situation that we have friend though only a friend. Yet, we even saw in the movie, some of them believe in imaginary friends. Even, it is also the most common people will talk about in diaries or blogs. Some says that best friend always be there when you need her/him. Some says that a friend is one who walks in when the whole world walks out. If we search on the internet and type the word 'Friend', there would be thousands of them related to the stories, blogs, websites, pictures and etc.

Well if we really want to find out what are the true meaning of friends, well you should find out yourself by your experiences and feelings. My friend once said, "Experience is the best teacher", totally agreed with her. A friend do sometime hurt us with he or she realize or without. Even me myself had hurt my friend. But we didn't realize about what we did was wrong, we realize only when a friend did was WRONG. I know that sometimes things are getting worse and tried to blame everything around us without knowing it. But saying, "forgive me" is easy compare to forgive people. For me, I comfortable by saying sorry rather than waiting to hear the word Sorry came from a friend eventhough we did no wrong. But we wouldn't know whether what we've done do not hurt our friend? Who would??? if they keep their mouth shut. So saying forgive me is better than late because we'll never know when our times come. As a friend we should always be optimist, positive thinker, "husnuzhon" atau bersngka baik.

Sometimes, we even said that "I already forgive you", but with no sincerity, those words was meaningless. Some also said that "I've known you for a long time and even better", but it is actually an abstract, only we know ourselves better than anyone, though Allah is The-Only. So we can't judge them even we know them for million years, we have no right to them. All we have to do is be positive, be easy to say sorry and at the same time, be easy to forgive people. The All-Mighty, Only He can judges us.

When we lost them, only then we'll know how much we treasure them. And that time, it is too late where we can't move backward. So, for now grab as many friends as you can while still keeping your limit as muslim and muslimah. I've learned many great things when I came to Makassar. Plus you have to be good in choosing your friend because they colour your life.

In the Sirah Rasulullah s.a.w during the Hijrah, we can see how Sayyidina Abu Bakar always be on our prophet side eventhough he left all his money, property and belongings. He showed us the true side of SAHABAT. "Ku cemburukan kesetiaannya kpd Rasulullah". Why can't we be like him? I wish I'd be one day through Allah's guardian.
Friendship is hard to defined in meanings, but it can be found with your true heart, like friendship for ukhuwah. Friendship in the name of Allah.
